This was such a unique and utterly chilling game to play. My fear of pregnancy and medical horror didn't help LOL (also shoutout to the ui, art, and music for really solidifying that eerie vibe)
The voice acting, backgrounds and animations were SO GOOD! Really immersive and natural. The CG's were creepy too, I can't say body horror is my thing, but it was definitely an interesting experience. Everything was built around the concept, so I was satisfied when I got all the endings.
The concept of this game was so intriguing! Not to mention Niall was quite a looker lol! Loved it! I did a gameplay of one of the endings if anyone wants to watch!

this may be an odd question to ask before playing the game but can someone tell me how the mc/pc is referred to (if at all)? i really like these sort of games but being called 'woman, girl, she, etc' gives me some seriously bad emotions and i really don't wanna spoil it by watching a playthrough
The game is written in second person, so the narration will be written like this:
"You feel a rush of happiness as you continue your hike, because you hear nothing but nature around you." Marlowe, uses she/her pronouns and is a cisgender woman. She will be referred to by Marlowe when spoken to, most often. The screenshots should be able to provide a little more info. Hope this helped!
However, considering she identifies as a cis-woman and her desire for a family is part of the plot, there is discussion of parenthood and marriage which may be an issue if you would prefer to avoid gendered language.
This game is so well done- from the visuals to the sound/music and the VAs, simply phenomenal! It has to be said that they captured the atmosphere very nicely! Starting with a warm setting, and later into a cold ambience. It felt so chilly. Plus, I gotta hand out my respect to the main character's rationality. She was so well-reasoned through the whole situation. Overall, incredible work!!

I downloaded the file for Windows but the zip file doesn't seem to open,I tried finding file location only to say unknown321 or smth like that(didn't open either).Maybe it's my laptop idk
Parasite In Love was truly a breathtaking experience for anyone who's thinking of picking it up. The artwork for this game is truly a spectacle to behold, and the writing left me with so many mixed feelings.
What can I say? I loved it, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested in playing it.

Oooh, this was creepy! I managed to convince Niall with pure luck. I really liked the effects on the UI when the... condition progressed. It was nice to see a creepy but colorful game! I just hope I won't be forever spooked from swimming in lakes again

Every piece of this was amazing, the voice acting, the music, the subtle animations, the art! I just finished playing so I still need to edit the video but I'll have it on my channel soon! Wonderful game, excellent, breathtaking (literally) and also thank you so much for including a guide, I never would have found the last two endings without it!
I absolutely loved this game! There was kind of a sense of hopeless and it made the game feel more haunting. I also liked the use of looking a certain in the game through microscope lens.

Either try to execute it as admin or try playing it in the itch io app?
i can help you turn off your virus thingy you can see how in youtube or take the full game folder and put it in your (C:) drive
make a folder named whatever you like (Games) and after you put the game in it play it if its not working i'm sorry
