I absolutely loved this game! There was kind of a sense of hopeless and it made the game feel more haunting. I also liked the use of looking a certain in the game through microscope lens.
This game is like... So gorgeous?? I loved everything, the art, the sound, the atmosphere, the voice acting! And also, all the details like the menu, the brain's gallery CG, everything.
It was really a gorgeous and monstruous unique experience for a surprising, innovator (plot of amoebas), and remarkable game, congratulation and thank you very much for this game, and for your hard work !
I love this game!! It really reminds me of Song of Saya. I wonder if that's where some of the inspo came from? parasite in love a really pretty game <: love the art!!
Oh this was such a good game! I think my favourite thing about it is that the MC (Marlowe) retains a strong sense of self, and the plot is not shy about calling Niall out for his treatment. It was very interesting, and the GUI was definitely my favourite design choice. The way it changes as the disease spreads, the fact that the options menu and CG are shown via a side-view of the brain, the save option is a microscope etc. So good, 10/10.

It was also a fascinating thought experiment as to whether a creature like Niall even recognizes what he's doing as abusive. He's a single-celled creature who, by nature, requires another living being to survive. He is a parasite (symbolism!) and if your entire survival and propagation is dependent on another living being then wouldn't you love that thing? Especially if it could talk back. If it could tell you that it loved you too. You don't want to die, but you don't want your host to die either. Yet neither of you can live with the other. Something something metaphor something something idk
Marlowe uses she/her pronoun and is a cis-woman. But the game is written in second person, addressing the player as "you", so it might only come up a few times during playing it.
Incredibly unsettling!! Super unnerving! What a great game!!!! Every detail felt well planned, from the sounds getting louder to the UI design, and every image was gorgeous to look at, even as they all filled me with dread. The story had me reaching for a blanket, it was so chilling. Amazing job, all.
Our composer is working on it! We're making cover art and will see how his schedule looks like. He might make remixes too. We will probably make a devlog update, once it's ready!
This was a super fun game! I loved how the GUI slowly changes as you're getting weaker and the pretty animations when the hallucinations hit. The parasite was surprisingly a sweetheart, and I kind of loved the ending I achieved. There is definitely some replayability but I don't want to insult him for some reason LOL. The music ROCKS as well!
I don't why but i wasn't expecting this trip haha I REALLY loved the GUI changing as the sickness gets worse. Only the minigame with quicktime event was a little confusing to me. I was hoping to have some kind of surprise at the search part, only found 3 words that works. Wanted to know if there is more.
It was a very different experience... A kind of horror that works really well in the game. It made me feel terrified, scared, and desperate at the same time. And the way they worked with the tokophobia... it gave me the chills.
the a and d segment branches into two different endings, depending on how often you've pressed a and d after each other. not at once. The easiest way to get the other end, would to not press it at all.
Oh my god the atmosphere in this gaaaame!! * chef kiss * It's so good with the backgrounds, sounds and creepy music that immerse you right in and just keep unsettling you more and more. The way the backgrounds would start distorting the colors the sicker Marlowe got was so terrifying as well, it made you feel her pain 😭
I really liked the interpretation/symbolism of an amoeba being this manipulative, toxic boyfriend that won't leave you alone until you give him what he wants 🤯 It's really creative and, god, I felt so bad for Marlowe when he used her wish for a family against her 😭
Really spooky and cool horror game!! I hope I don't have nightmares about parasite amoeba boyfriends 😱
Niall best yandere parasite boy, pls infect my brain ;w;
This was a really solid VN, I'm amazed at how much unique art there was, with all the backgrounds (and the background variants!) The unsettling and creepy atmosphere was also really well-done, and I loved the sound effects and the VA. Niall's voice actor is one of the best VAs I've heard in an EVN, so major props for that.
Your team did a great job! This was a really great experience all around!
I REALLY enjoyed this game!! It's absolutely gorgeous yet SO unsettling. The music and voice acting suits everything so nicely! NGL I left this game being a huge Niall simp LOL (^///^) No but seriously 10/10 cannot recommend it enough!!!
niall tried to be malewife, but all he does was mansplain and manipulate and i wasn't for it! but, in all seriousness, i loved the story and the aesthetic of everything. amazing work!
Cool ambiance and body horror, good job on the eerieness. 10/10 would recommend, I am struggling with 2 of the ending, so wondering if there'll be a guide.

Is the protagonist gender neutral in this?

Great work!
Ok please explain the a and d segment. I have tried holding down a and d at once. I have tried repeatedly pressing both fast. Idk what to do there.
SPOILERS:
the a and d segment branches into two different endings, depending on how often you've pressed a and d after each other. not at once.
The easiest way to get the other end, would to not press it at all.
ok so spoilers ahead then just in case
Ok so you have to press a and d one after the other but a certain amount of times for it to lead to a better ending right?
Nevermind I have figured it out. Thank you!
